Finantix opens Singapore branch to support local financial institutions in growing assets

Venice, Italy, November 11, 2002 - -

Finantix officially announced today the opening of a new subsidiary office in Singapore. The Singapore branch will serve as Finantix headquarters for Asia Pacific client support, operations, partners and sales.

Tomer Serok has been appointed as Asia Pacific operations manager. Previously employed as Finantix sales manager in the Asia Pacific region, Mr. Serok demonstrates a broad understanding of the Asiatic financial industry’s needs.

Finantix offers private and retail banks, insurance companies, relationship managers and stockbrokers OneWealth, a high-touch, high-tech solution for wealth management, retail banking and e-finance. A component-based J2EE platform, OneWealth covers financial planning, CRM technology, decision support and transactions. The solution’s multichannel architecture works over the Internet, intranet (branches, investment center, call center), wireless (PDA, WAP) and messaging. As far as financial planning is concerned, it addresses asset allocation, retirement, education, tax planning, estate, insurance (life and non-life), what-if scenarios and advice. It supports multiple products such as equities, fixed income, mutual funds and derivatives.

OneWealth has already been successfully installed at several world-class financial institutions. It helps boost the ability to analyze and target key client segments, enrich personalized product and service offerings, and maximise delivery efficiency through a multichannel environment, while maintaining strict cost control.

“Finantix is strengthening its already active presence in the Asia Pacific area by providing reliable expertise totally focused on the financial services industry. We know that any international technological provider striving to effectively support FIs must have a strong local presence, capable of sustaining a culturally perceptive and timely interpretation of local market trends and business requirements,” explains Mr. Emmerich.

“With more than 700 local and foreign financial organizations, Singapore is a world leading financial centre, an established regional hub and a major foreign exchange on the global market. Its impressive quality of life has made it famous as ‘The Switzerland of Asia’” Emmerich continues: “The mass-affluent segment in this area is one of today’s most promising global financial markets. Wealthy Asiatic investors are eager for sophisticated financial products and highly professional advisory services. Finantix’s proven, stable and modular solutions enable financial institutions to transform this demand into profitable assets.”
