Finantix acquires software suite for wireless financial services |

Venice, Italy, April 29, 2002 - -
Finantix (formerly INFOservice) officially announced the acquisition of ETP, a wireless financial service software suite produced by the Finnish
company Entirem.
ETP enables financial institutions to set up an effective multichannel investor portal supporting wireless devices such as GSM phones, smart phones and PDAs. Its software modules (security trading, enhanced wealth position, advanced alerting) employ J2EE-technology, assuring scalability, reliability and flawless integration with existing web services.
Key Entirem software developers have joined Finantix's Helsinki office empowering the company's core competence in wireless technology. The Helsinki team is currently working on several wireless solutions in collaboration with Nokia and IBM.
ETP was developed together in partnership with Entirem and is an integral part of Finantix's OneWealth solution and multichannel offering. It permits financial institutions to provide services anywhere at anytime, states Ralf Emmerich, CEO of Finantix. Wireless devices have already become a via for financial services. Their importance will grow as mobile phones and PDAs leverage truly high-speed networks.
