software firm, seeks a
meticulous and
self-motivated
individual, to support
its technical efforts in
implementing enterprise
solutions as Software
Architect.
The Software Architect
for this position will
join a team of
architects that support
Finantix Professional
Services, Finantix
pre-sales structure,
partners and customers.
The candidate will
manage the technological
aspects of the overall
lifecycle of a solution
implementation,
including client
acquisition through
support to pre-sales
structure, design of the
solution by reuse of
Finantix and third-party
technologies,
participation to the
Project Management
structure as manager of
the technical efforts,
liaise with Finantix
Development Services to
ensure the delivery of
the required software
artefacts, supervision
of the rollout of the
solution and hand-over
to post-production team.
The ideal candidate
would have strong
analytical and
management skills.
Confidence and
communication skills to
inspire Clients with the
Finantix vision are
essential for a
successful Software
Architect.

The
Software Architect is
required to:
|
|
 |
Work with technology managers of major financial institutions; |
|
|
Design the architecture of the overall solution according to Finantix best practises and Client requirements; |
|
|
Participate to Project Management being accountable for the overall design and development efforts; |
|
|
Support
pre-sales activities,
including demonstrations
and presentations to
senior customer
representatives, answer
to RFIs and RFPs and
executing PoCs; |
|
|
Liaise with Development Services teams to ensure best design and quality of the delivered artefacts; |
|
|
Ensure that performance of the solution complies with internal established standards and/or Client requirements; |
|
|
Monitor overall project to address potential software design issues; |
|
|
Support teams deployed on-site when required. |
|
The position requires a flexible approach to working hours and travelling to Client premises when necessary. |
|
Required qualifications and technical skills: |
|
|
4+ years IT delivery experience ideally within the service industry;
|
|
|
2+ years delivering enterprise level solutions within J2EE architecture; |
|
|
Ability to support pre-sales activities, including answering RFI/RFP, client-facing meetings and execution of PoCs; |
|
|
Detailed knowledge of Java J2EE frameworks; |
|
|
Strong UML design skills. The Model Driven Architecture is a plus; |
|
|
Excellent communication
skills including written
English, verbal
presentation and visual
representation; |
|
|
Experience within the
financial markets is a
plus; |
|
|
International experience is a plus (main work location is Venice); |
|
|
Teamwork skills. |
