Finantix Components Achieves
“Powered by SAP NetWeaver®” Status
Provides Seamless Deployment of Components Front-office Retail Solution on SAP NetWeaver Platform

London, 9th October 2007 – Finantix, a global provider of component-based front office retail solutions, today announced that its Components solution has achieved “Powered by SAP NetWeaver®” status. Finantix Components, now certified for deployment on the SAP NetWeaver platform, supports advice-led sales, multi-channel banking and wealth management, allowing for implementation of its components in existing SAP® application-based back-office systems.

To achieve Powered by SAP NetWeaver qualification, Finantix has demonstrated that Finantix Components can be successfully deployed on a J2EE-based engine of the SAP NetWeaver Application Server Release 6.40 and is accessible via the SAP NetWeaver Portal 6.0. This deployment has been tested and certified by the SAP Integration and CertificationCenter(SAP ICC).

Alessandro Tonchia, strategy director, Finantix, says: “We pride ourselves on delivering technology that easily integrates with existing back-office systems. Achieving Powered by SAP NetWeaver status is an important achievement and highlights our commitment to easing integration processes. We can now seamlessly deploy our components on the SAP NetWeaver platform, further minimising implementation time. Our certified solution will offer financial institutions the flexibility to meet market demands and address customers’ increasing expectations.”

Finantix’s technology includes functionality for branch innovation, advice-led selling, CRM, lending and wealth management. This offering gives financial institutions new levels of visibility into customer behavior and habits. As a result, they can optimise service levels and create a meaningful dialogue with customers. Its extensive component library can slot into legacy systems, unlocking potential sales opportunities at every touch point via a personalised advice-led process. Financial institutions are able to configure the components to match different retail strategies and types of customers, quickly supporting new sales and customer service channels..

The SAP NetWeaver platform powers the SAP Business Suite, SAP xApps™ packaged composite applications, and solutions such as Components from Finantix. SAP NetWeaver unifies integration technologies into a single platform and is pre-integrated with business applications, enabling change and reducing the need for custom integration.
