  Overview

New business requirements are re-shaping the IT platforms to become sales-oriented, unified, centrally managed, market adaptive solutions that can be accessed by several kinds of users, through several business channels, with or without the support of an operator, across several countries.
Consequently, IT architectures are composed by several applications implemented on different products and technologies that make it hard to see the whole picture, which is the business solution. Finantix has already recognized it and developed methodologies and tools to enable IT professionals to separately focus on the business vision and the technical infrastructure. Finantix puts them together through technologies and expertises consistent with the Model Driven Architecture (MDA) defined by OMG enabling IT solutions to Business Process Management (BPM).

BPM has emerged as a high-level requirement that enables enterprises to consolidate their business environment, taking advantage of critical non-functional prerequisites. These, such as reusability and EAI support, come with a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA); whereas compatibility and platform portability are fulfilled by solutions engineered through MDA. BPM is thus achieved through a SOA-based IT architecture and an enterprise solution designed with MDA.
Finantix technologies allow IT professionals to separately focus on business vision and technical infrastructure at any level (MDA, SOA and BPM) by providing the following benefits:

Time-to-market reduction – An automated model transformation allows developing business functionality independently of its implementation within the technical architecture.
Investment protection – Standardization and platform independency makes enterprise solutions future-safe since portability to new platforms is a well-defined and a well-estimable process.
Mastery of the big picture – Business functionality is formally described without technological or implemental constraints and managed through functional configuration management hence ensuring business continuity.
Short and long-term ROI increase – Major project costs (i.e., Enterprise Application Integration) are reduced and maintenance is simplified, functional upgrade conveniently applied and migration executed with reasonable costs.
