HR Administrator – Japan

Japan – As an HR Administrator you will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. You are experienced in HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. You will ensure that our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labor laws. THE JOB

Drive your professional growth through rising to these challenges:

ORGANISE prepare and maintain HR Documents like employment contracts and new hire guides

REVISE and maintains company policies

UPDATE internal databases (e.g. record sick, maternity, annual leaves)

LIAISE with external partners, like insurance vendors and ensure legal compliance

CREATE regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)

ASSIST payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, work schedules)

ARRANGE travel accommodations and process expense forms

PARTICIPATE in HR Projects (e.g. organize job fairs)

THE PERSON WE NEED

Great skills and even greater personal qualities:

EDUCATION Degree in Human Resources or relevant field

PROVEN work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role 

THOROUGH knowledge of Labour Law

EXCELLENT organizational skills with an ability to prioritize important projects

EXCELLENT Native and English communication skills.

EXPERIENCE with HR Software like HRIS or HRMS is an advantage

COMPUTER literacy (MS Office applications)

PERSONALITY a strong sense of work commitment and should be able to handle – in fact, really enjoy! – a fast-paced project environment
